Ever since 1857 sulfur is used as a fungicide in viticulture. In fact it is the oldest effective agent to control Powdery Mildew. Until today no resistances are known. From the early stages winegrowers knew how to obtain high yield and quality by using sulfur.

The importance of sulfur as a plant protection agent has not only been maintained until today but gains more and more attention in our time of increased environmental awareness.

Nowadays it is one of the few fungicides that are also certified for use in organic farming.
